چکیده
Lignite coal fly ash (FA) from a domestic thermal power plant was converted into pure cancrinite zeolitic material (ZMFA) using novel, custom-made, rotating autoclave reactor system by short-term alkali activation process. The obtained ZMFA used as catalyst support of calcium oxide an active component derived waste chicken eggshells (ES). supported (xCaO/ZMFA) synthesized means the ultrasound-assisted method. influence different concentrations dispersed (x = 5–20 wt%) over and treatment at temperatures (450–600 °C) were studied. structural morphological characterization showed that original structure preserved. basicity textural properties indicated presence strong sites in well-defined pore network suitable for reactions bulky organic compounds such triacylglycerols (TAGs). highest activity (96.5% fatty acid methyl esters) methanolysis sunflower oil achieved with 20CaO/ZMFA under reaction conditions: temperature 60 °C, methanol/oil molar ratio 12:1, concentration 4 wt%, time 2 h. It found optimal calcination precursor 550 °C. At above melting glassy phase became more intense whereby molten partially reacted forming catalytically inactive silicate (wollastonite, larnite, etc.). rate constants two tested kinetic models correlated oxide. MRPD both low indicating their reliability.

Biodiesel Production from Chicken Fat Using Nano-calcium Oxide Catalyst and Improving the Fuel Properties via Blending with Diesel
In this research, biodiesel was produced using chicken fat in the presence of calcium oxide nano-catalyst. To do so, the effect of various parameters like temperature, reaction time, catalyst amount and methanol to oil ratio was investigated on the biodiesel production. The results showed that the best conditions for biodiesel production were obtained such as the temperature of 65oC, methanol t...
متن کاملCharacterization of X-type Zeolite Prepared from Coal Fly Ash
This study presents experimental results dealing with the possibility of transforming F-class fly ash into a zeolitic material. Two types of synthesis methods were used in the research: hydrothermal and low-temperature synthesis. As a result of alkaline reaction of fly ash with NaOH, all experimental cases yielded zeolitic material that are rich in a Na-X phase. The mineralogical composition (d...
متن کاملProduction geopolymer materials by coal fly ash
Coal ash is the main waste from power plant. It is estimated that the consumption of the coal for power plant will increase to 240 million tons each year and the coal ash wastes will produce more than 2 million tons per year. Although the utilization of coal fly ash can be reached 74.1%, large amount of coal fly ash and bottom ash still cannot be utilized. The purpose of this research is to dev...
متن کاملCoal fly ash as a resource for rare earth elements
Rare earth elements (REE) have been recognised as critical raw materials, crucial for many clean technologies. As the gap between their global demand and supply increases, the search for their alternative resources becomes more and more important, especially for the countries which depend highly on their import. Coal fly ash (CFA), which when not utilised is considered waste, has been regarded ...
متن کاملTransesterification of Waste Cooking Oil for Biodiesel Production Using Modified Clinoptilolite Zeolite as a Heterogeneous Catalyst
Reduction of fossil fuels sources, increasing of pollution gases emission, and global warming effects increase the demand of renewable fuels. One of the main candidates of alternative fuels is biodiesel. Biodiesel limits greenhouse gas effects due to the closed CO2 cycle. Biodiesel has more biodegradability, lower combustion emissions such as CO, SOx, HC, PM and lower toxicity than petro diesel...
